Ran into this issue today –

Search for and open 'Finder' , click on Go tab and select > Go to Folder.

Reset Preferences One of the most frequent remedies to crashes that Adobe recommends is resetting your Premiere Pro preferences. (Sometimes referred to as 'trashing' your preferences.) This will reset your preferences back to the factory defaults.

Location 1: In the box type ~/Library/Application Support.

Location 2: In the box type ~/Library/Preferences.

One of them is the cost. Adobe Premiere costs $20.99 per month for a single app or $52.99 as part of the more full-featured Adobe Creative-Cloud service. In addition, Adobe Premiere Pro is very resource demanding program, which means that you can use it only on a powerful computer. Read Adobe Premiere Pro review. By reason, the App does not work and can not be opened. Mostly, just Disable the Gatekeeper, and you get rid of troubles.Everything you need to create.Extend your editing platform wherever you.

Location 3: Documents folder

Renamed the ‘Adobe‘ folders to ‘OldAdobeFree text program for mac.

Launch Premiere Pro, accept the License Agreement and see if it works.

Note: You will lose your customized workspaces and keyboard shortcuts.

This didn't work for me 🙁 but doing the following did 🙂

Open finder > Go tab > Go to Folder

Type '~/Library' and click Go.

Go to /Library/Caches/Adobe/Premiere Pro/12.0

Delete the 'Typesupport' folder

Then Premiere opened and stayed open and loaded.
